Happy Place

When Johnathan first got stationed on the Eastern Shore he was living in the small town of Oxford, Maryland. I fell more and more in love with the town each time I visited. Some attractions include; a ferry, little mom-and-pop shops, a park overlooking the water and absolutely gorgeous houses to look at.
As we would take a walk through town, we would stop to get ice cream at the Scottish Highland Creamery.

The ice cream here is magical!
The creamery is located a little bit off of the main street in town. You park right next to a dock and walk up to the window to order.

Of course you can sample whatever flavors you'd like! (Which only makes the decision harder because they are all amazing)

All of their ice cream is homemade and they change their flavors often.

John and I have turned it into a special treat, so that whenever we are in the area we make a point to stop by. The town will forever be special to me because it is the place where I got engaged and there are so many memories here.

I chose Vanilla and Belgium Chocolate and Johnathan got Cappuccino with White Chocolate and Chunky Monkey. The ice cream is so smooth and decadent; we always end up eating in silence, just absorbed in the yumminess.

Our view! So gorgeous!
The Creamery can do no wrong and the view is outstanding! It is so relaxing to sit on the dock and watch the boats and the water. It really can turn any day into a great one!

Why is there so much poop?!

The Creamery is our happy place and if you are ever in the area you should check them out!
